Leading Kenyan Brands Recognised at 2026 Dependable Brands Awards

Kenya’s leading companies and organisations in real estate, healthcare, education, media and retail were honoured for excellence, innovation and customer trust during the 2026 Dependable Brands Awards held at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi.

The annual awards brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to celebrate brands that have consistently demonstrated quality service, integrity and innovation while earning the confidence of consumers across the country.

Among the top winners, Fanaka Real Estate was named Real Estate Brand of the Year, while its Chief Executive Officer, Moses Muriithi, received the CEO of the Year 2026 award. Tricent Medical College was recognised as Medical Training Institution of the Year 2026, while Samira Mobile Accessories won Accessories Brand of the Year.

Joan Williams was honoured as Trusted Senior Global Diaspora Realtor of the Year 2026 for her contribution to the real estate sector and her role in supporting diaspora property investment.

In the media category, NOMAD Digital was recognised among Kenya’s 100 Most Dependable Brands, with Chief Executive Officer Suleyman Mohamed receiving the award on behalf of the organisation.

Mohamed attributed the recognition to the trust placed in the organisation by its audiences, partners and staff.

“This recognition belongs to our audiences, partners and the dedicated team behind our platforms. We remain committed to delivering credible journalism, embracing innovation and telling stories that inform, educate and create meaningful impact across Kenya and beyond,” he said.

He added that the award would inspire the organisation to continue raising standards in digital journalism and multimedia storytelling.

NOMAD Digital has built a reputation for its coverage of national and regional affairs, including sustained reporting on development, governance, investment and emerging political dynamics within Kenya’s Northern Corridor, alongside broader national and international news.

Organisers said the Dependable Brands Awards continue to celebrate organisations and leaders that demonstrate excellence, innovation, customer confidence and sustainable business practices while contributing to economic growth and improved service delivery.

The 2026 edition underscored the growing importance of trust, quality and innovation in an increasingly competitive business environment, recognising brands that continue to set industry standards while creating lasting value for consumers and communities.
